Visual Tour of Christ in Art | 5:4

In this talk, Dr. Lawrence Feingold will walk through the images of Christ in the visual arts. Every work of art transmits a vision of the world. Christian art is no exception. However, the Christian artist is faced with an immensely difficult task: to transmit visually the creed in the Incarnation and Passion of the Word of God. Could art dare to represent this most exalted mystery? Or, should representations of Christian doctrine be banned because of the danger of idolatry and the impossibility of adequately representing the divine in visual form?
