In this talk, Dr. Lawrence Feingold discusses the anti-Catholic, pro-pagan agenda of the Da Vinci Code
Many people claim that it is ridiculous for Christians to get so worked up about a work of fiction. Why hold conferences and seminars against a mere thriller? However, if we read the reviews of the DVC, and the comments of those who have read the book, we see immediately that readers think that they are encountering history, and that many think that “his research is impeccable.” The truth is rather that we are presented with a great falsification of history. Besides making money, the book seems to have a twofold mission: (1) the maligning of the Catholic faith; and (2) promotion of Goddess Worship and the “Sacred Feminine.”

In this talk, Dr. Lawrence Feingold discusses the Year of Faith, declared by Pope Benedict on October, 11, 2012 .
In his encyclical, Porta Fidei, Pope Benedict called for a Year of Faith beginning on October 11, 2012, which coincided with the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of the Second Vatican Council and the twentieth anniversary of the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. The Year of Faith continued the battle begun by Paul VI against secularization and nominal Catholicism, focusing on the universal call to holiness, the mission of the lay faithful, and a renewed emphasis on marriage and the family, through the right interpretation of the Second Vatican Council.
